Think, Look, Make

In Palo Alto, we experienced the eclipse, projected through daily objects onto the ground. This image was made through the circles in my sweater above. 

It is 40 degrees C in this part of Africa and most of the locals are going without food or water for over 14 hours each day. As the Essaouira sun sets, men rush to buy fish, bread, spices and apples. All of a sudden the streets are quiet. The sun sets while people pray. When it is dark, the streets come back to life.
